Ruby Pearl Guinn

With broken hearts but grateful spirits, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Ruby Pearl Arles (Guinn), who went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2025, at the age of 85. Ruby was the heart of our family — steady, selfless, and full of love. Her life was a living testimony of faith, kindness, and strength. She held on as long as she could, but when her work here was done, the Lord called her home. We take comfort knowing she is reunited in Heaven with her husband, children, and loved ones, free from pain and full of joy. She cherished the simple things in life. Church and worship were her foundation, but she also had a love for a good yard sale, where she never passed up a treasure she could share with someone else. Giving was her joy, whether it was clothes, food, or just a warm smile. Ruby also loved music of all genres especially Gospel, Country and she enjoyed classic westerns with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Most of all, Ruby loved her family. To her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, she was more than a mother or grandmother she was our anchor, our encourager, and our safe place. She leaves behind countless memories: from her childhood in Tishomingo, to the lessons she passed down through her bedtime rules. Cleanliness was always important to her — even if all you had was a washcloth and some soapy water. She often reminded us, ‘You might be poor, but you can always be clean — and cleanliness is next to godliness.’ Her grandchildren cherish their own special memories. They recall that if you were blessed enough to share a bed with Nanny, you quickly learned this was not playtime. If you forgot, you risked being sent straight to the couch. These lessons, offered with love and a touch of humor, will remain with them always.” “Not much got past Momma. She had a way of knowing everything, especially when it came to her children. You couldn’t sneak in late — she needed to hear you home safe before she’d let herself sleep.” She leaves behind a family who adores her: Son Clifford Arles, Daughter Thelma Peery, Brothers with their wives Frank and Betty Wallace and Roy and Sonja Wallace, Grandchildren David Arles, Tiffany Henry, Clayton Arles, Eric Arles, Carolyn Ruby Arles, Joseph Arles, Misty Peery, and Kenny Jo Peery, along with so many precious great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is reunited with her husband Floyd Leon Arles; her children Richard Leon Arles and Janie Alexander; lher grandson Daniel Janson Alexander; her parents William and Lillie Wallace; five sisters Ellen, Lola, Rosie, Cora, and Annie; and six brothers William, Ted, Junior, Johnny, Gene, and Jessie Lee. We will celebrate her life on October 10, 2025, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, at 1:00 p.m. at Dearman Clark Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, OK, beside her beloved husband. All are welcome to join us as we honor the incredible woman she was and the love she gave so freely. Though we grieve her absence, this is not goodbye — only “see you later.” Ruby’s greatest gift was her love, and that love will live in us forever. “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’” — Proverbs 31:28–29
