Mary Kay Boyd

Mary Kay (Harwell) Boyd, 77, resident of Tishomingo, passed from this life in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family in the early morning hours on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Mary was born on October 5, 1945 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Charles A. and Julia B. Harwell. She married her one true love, Maurice Boyd, on June 20, 1963. A year and a half after their marriage they welcomed their first baby girl, Kimberly Kay Boyd, into the world; two and half years later another baby girl came along, Sandra Dee Boyd and just as they thought their family was complete, six years later, they welcomed their baby boy, Nicholus Maurice Boyd. Mary was a loving wife and a caring mother but also a businesswoman when it came to working at buying and selling furniture in a local retail store. Even though Mary was in a lot of pain and battled with neuropathy for many years she believed that life was a gift; that it was here to enjoy, not to worry and not to hoard. Live life, love people and give when you can; try to have fun and be happy about something every day is how she lived. Her mother would call her the “happy go lucky child” she believed her mom gave her the happy part but in Mary’s eyes lucky was that she got to live life every day to the fullest with the one she loved dearly, her husband Maurice. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Julia B. Harwell; grandson, Kyle Loffelmacher; siblings, Shirley, Virginia, Judy, Charles and Jim; nephew, Rusty Harwell. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her husband of 59 years, Maurice Boyd; children, Kim Loffelmacher and husband Ronny, Sandra Boyd and Nicholas Boyd; grandchildren, Shadow Rider, Shanda Rider, Ronie Kay Loffelmacher; great grandchildren, Gracie and Micah Rider, Gabby, EJ and Sophia Hasbell; two nieces, Sharon Twitchell and Cheri Conway and husband Eric and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services to honor and celebrate the life of Mary Kay Boyd will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 21, 2022 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn. Family hour will be Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Arrangements are entrusted to DeArman-Clark Funeral Home, 305 E.
