Gary Wayne Neeley

Gary Wayne Neeley was born in Conroe, Texas on March 12, 1959, to the late LaVerne (Hill) Williams and the late R.L. Neeley. Gary grew up in Conroe and graduated from Conroe High School. He married his wife of 44 years on May 29, 1979. They had a daughter, Angela Neeley in 1981. Gary moved his family to Paoli, OK in 1942 where he drove a truck for Master Oil in Norman, OK. He later went on to work for the Town of Paoli and the City of Davis as public works and water and sewer. Gary loved baseball from an early age especially the Houston Astros. He passed that love on to his oldest grandson Dylan when they spent many hours in the front yard practicing pitching, batting and fielding. Gary also loved to work on anything with an engine which he passed that love on to his youngest grandson Treavor. They spent many hours in the front yard with Gary working on whatever he may have been working on and Treavor right there with his power wheel doing everything his poppa was doing and say everything his poppa was saying as well. He got in trouble a time or two. Gary passed from his earthly home on November 14, 2023. Survivors include his beloved wife, Susie Neeley of Davis; daughter, Angie Tigert and husband Jeremy of Hennepin, OK; grandson, Dylan Tigert and wife Adriana of Davis; grandson, Treavor Tigert of Hennepin; great granddaughter, Bristol Tigert of Davis; brothers, Rickey and wife Ann of Cleveland, TX, Randy David and wife Gayle of Plano, TX; sisters, Teresa Martin and husband Jason of Tomball, Carole Weihrich and husband Mark of Magnolia, TX, Lori Timmons and husband Don of Florence, SC; Bonus mom, Dorothy Neeley of Tomball; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his mom, LaVerne Williams; dad, R.L. Neeley; sister, Linda Shultz; bonus dad, TJ Williams; mother-in-law, Pearl Taylor and two sister in laws, Patricia Plaster and Darlene Keller. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Hennepin Cemetery in Hennepin, Oklahoma with Brother Bobby Reeves to officiate. Those serving as pallbearers will be Treavor Tigert, Dylan Tigert, Jeremy Tigert, Justin Pittman and Donovan Pittman.
