Billy Mills, 80, Tishomingo OK., passed on Sunday, March 7, 2021. He left this earth peacefully, spending his last moments surrounded by family. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 12, 2021, at Tishomingo OK. City Cemetery. Pastor Henry Kellogg of the First Assembly of God will officiate. Billy was born April 8th, 1940, at home in Cooper, OK, to Irbra Mills and Mary Ellen (Graham) Mills, he was raised amongst his three brothers and three sisters, Anna May, Jimmy Wilford, Gilbert Wayne, Elizabeth Jane, Bessie Etta Fisher and Johnny Elvin Fisher. He attended school in Arkansas City, KS. Billy Mills married Virginia (Bradshaw) Begay on December 31st, 1981, in Newkirk, OK. The couple made their home in Arkansas City KS. Where, they raised their children until they moved to Gilchrist, TX, and later settled in Tishomingo, OK. Billy was a skilled laborer working various jobs to support his beloved family. He worked for Brown and Root Drilling, Kansas Plastic’s in Garden City KS., DV Douglass roofing company in Garden City KS. Struthers Thermo-flood in Winfield KS., Rodeo meat packing Inc. Arkansas City KS., Do It Best Lumber Company Winfield KS. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, craft work, beading Native American pieces, and fishing with his wife and children. He was a Congregation member at the First Assembly of God, in Arkansas City KS., and Tishomingo OK. Billy was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grand father and friend to many. Survivors include his sisters and brothers Anna May (Mills) Wilkinson; Elizabeth Jane (Mills) Fritchey; Bessie Ella (Fisher) Stewart; Johnny Elvin Fisher; Children Johnny W Mills and significant other Michelle Walls of Ponca City, OK; Joe Mills and wife Mariam Risso of Hastings, FL; Justin Mills and significant other Amy Houchin of Arkansas City, KS.; Debbie Mills and significant other Eric Williams of Islamorada, FL.; Naomi R. Yellowhair of Kayenta, AZ.; Johnny R. Begay and wife Patricia of Chandler, AZ.; Marion L. Yellowhair Kelly and husband John Kelly of Lee’s Summit, MO; Golden Begay and significant other Megan Goatley of Denver, CO.; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Irbra Mills & Mary Ellen (Graham) Fisher; His daughter Mary Ellen Mills; His wife Virginia Mills, His brothers Jimmy Wilford Mills, Gilbert Wayne Mills, Grandson Jordan B. Sisco. and close friends Gene and Cheryl Voigtlander. A graveside inurnment will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Tishomingo Cemetery.
