Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, Gene Lafitte and her grandfather, Henry Glenn. Suzanne was born October 13, 1969 to Anne and Gene Lafitte. She attended Tishomingo grade school and junior high where she made many life-long friends during that time. She loved to spend time as a young girl with her grandparents, Henry and Wanda Glenn. Suzanne graduated from Tishomingo High School where she played the flute in the Tishomingo marching band. Suzanne married Stan Rankins and had two children, Justin and Cortney. She loved to camp and go fishing with her family. She went on to work as a pharmacy technician with her dad at Gene Lafitte Pharmacy for 23 years where she developed many wonderful relationships with customers. People always commented on how much they enjoyed Suzanne taking care of them and how helpful she was. Suzanne was a member of the United Methodist Church of Tishomingo. Suzanne loved to read and was also very accomplished in crocheting and made the most beautiful gifts for friends and family. She also had an incredible talent for solving problems, fixing just about anything, and the patience of a saint in putting something together. Whenever someone couldn’t figure out why something wasn’t working, they would just take it to Suzanne and in a matter of minutes she had it figured out. She was a whiz on the computer and anything electronic and she absolutely loved to play games of all types. One of the most endearing qualities of Suzanne was her ability to get lost in the moment of a movie or show she really liked. You could hear Suzanne laugh out loud or make a shrill of excitement from something she was watching. The last couple of years she really enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes out for her mother and grandmother. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church in Tishomingo.
