Mesha Ann Romero

Mesha Ann Romero, 32, resident of Bullard Chapel Rd, Tishomingo, OK; passed away on December 8, 2022 in Milburn, Oklahoma. Mesha was born on February 18, 1990 in Carl Albert Indian Hospital, Ada, Oklahoma. She began school at the Chickasaw Headstart in Tishomingo & attended Tish elementary & Middle School & 3yrs at Tish High School. Mesha was a 2008 graduate of Milburn High School. Growing up she was involved in many activities; Chickasaw Children’s Choir, 4-H, FFA, and Girl Scouts. She played softball & basketball. As a teenager she worked at the Boys and Girls Club during the summer with the youth program. Mesha began working at Sonic at the age of 15, then went on to work at the MSC Cafeteria for a brief time. Her dream was to become a chef and was always working in the food industry in some capacity. She loved to cook, paint and sketch but one of her biggest joys was spending time with her family and she loved being the hostess when she could. She was one of the most creative people, always adding a flare of her own to everything she did whether it was in creating art or cooking. All of her life Mesha has wanted to be a mom and even when times got difficult over the past several years she was always smiling, happy and had a positive attitude no matter how much negativity was around her. Her life had many hardships and struggles but she never gave up; one of the most hard working and determined people ever. She loved being outdoors; fishing, swimming, camping or just breathing in the fresh air. Mesha just loved life. A beautiful soul gone too soon but never forgotten. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her four children, Dakota Romero and Gabriel Romero and their father, Zack Romero, Chevy Williams and Genesis Ryder Williams and their father, EJ Williams; Parents: Catherine and Darrell Walker; Wayne Ziegler; Grandfather: G.L. Ratliff; Brothers: William Walker & wife Molly Walker, David Walker, and Sean Ziegler; Sisters: Angela Bouley, Mandee George, Samantha Walker and Candace Saucedo; Nieces: Abbey, Alissa, Anna, Breleigh; Nephews: Hayden, James, Blaze, CJ and Tucker and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will deeply miss her. Mesha is preceded in death by her grandmothers: Lanora Ratliff & Doris Ziegler. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 15, 2022 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home with Brother Gary Poole to officiate. Interment to follow at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn.
