    Matthew Luntsfred Cravatt

    March 7, 1959 - November 29, 2021

    Funeral services to honor and celebrate Matthew's life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 2, 2021 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Pontotoc Cemetery. Matthew Luntsfred Cravatt, 62, passed away on November 29, 2021 at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma. Matthew was born on March 7, 1959 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He spent his younger years in Bromide and then attended Tishomingo High School. He furthered his education and was an Alumn at Murray State as well as East Central University. He married his beautiful bride, Susan Watzelt on November 7, 2002 at Calvary Baptist Church. Matthew also served on the Ravia City Council as one of the Trustees from 2015 through 2021. He was also the President of the Ravia Senior Center until 2020. Matthew served on the Johnston County 911 Board. Matthew loved fishing, hunting and going to the gun range. He was also very proud and interested in the Chickasaw Heritage and Traditions. The thing he loved most of all was being around his family and the friends that were family. A loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be forever loved and missed.

Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Munsy Lee Cravatt; brother, Lee Munsy Cravatt.

Those he leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Susan Cravatt; children, Jamie Lee Bennett-Cravatt, Matthew Luntsfred Cravatt Jr., Rebeccah LeAnn Johnson - Cravatt, Joshua Ian Cravatt, Johnny Don Cravatt, Christina Marie Leona Cravatt, Sabrina Rose Hill, and Seth Robert Wilker; his mother and stepfather, Don and Judy Hall; 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Leona Hatter, Regina Laverne Berna, and Aaron Morgan Cravatt; nieces and nephews, Tanya Russell, Tamra Upchurch, Randy Berna Jr., Bobby Berna, Heather Berna, and Starla Cravatt-Greenwood; and many great nieces, nephews and friends.
