Mary Donna Wisdom

August 31, 1947 - January 28, 2022

Mary Donna Wisdom, 74, of Mill Creek, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 in Sherman, Texas. Mary was born on August 31, 1947 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Dwain and Dorothy (Miller) Orr. She spent the majority of her life calling Mill Creek home. Mary married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Larry Wisdom, on October 15, 1966. She was so talented when it came to crocheting and sewing; she enjoyed making clothing for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren. A loving wife, caring mother and a wonderful grandmother who will be deeply missed. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Dwain and Dorothy Orr; brother, Charles “Sam” Orr; and nephew, Mike Orr. Those she leaves to cherish he memories are her loving husband of 55 years, Larry Wisdom; children, Gerald Wisdom, Samantha Gross and husband Mike Gross, grandchildren, Danielle Allen, Micah Woodall, Sarah Gross, and McKenzie Brendle; great grandchildren, Emma Fink, Olivia Gross, Adelyn Allen, Owen Allen and Charlotte Woodall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Blue Baptist Church in Connerville with Pastor Randy Wade to officiate. Interment to follow at the Mill Creek Cemetery. Family hour will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
