Larry Don Cline

Larry Don Cline, a resident of OKC, OK, was born on January 3, 1948, in Wynnewood, OK to Naomi and Tom Alyn Cline, Jr. He passed away in Oklahoma City on July 11, 2020. After attending Wynnewood High School, he moved to Houston, TX for a short time before enlisting in the United States Navy. He honorably served at Fleet Operations Control Center Pacific Fleet where he was involved in the communications for the first manned moon landing. His later part of his naval career was served in Vietnam. Upon returning to Oklahoma, Larry worked for the City of Oklahoma City, Public Works Dept., and after 34 years of service, he retired as Interim Field Services Superintendant. Larry was a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Master of Westwood Lodge Number 512. Larry enjoyed being an avid "ham" that is an amateur radio operator with a General License. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepmother, brother, nephew, and grandparents. He is survived by his fiance' Patsy, step - sister and husband - Marilyn and Mike Robinson, nephews - Michael Cline, Anthony Cline of Houston, TX and Matt and Marcus Robinson and niece Mikala Patino of Duncan, OK and Sister in law Mickey Cline of Houston, TX and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at 9:30 AM Graveside at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood officiated by Rev. David Rivers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2020 at DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood from 4 to 7 PM. Services are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
