    Kenneth LaFevers

    May 3, 1960 - March 12, 2022

    Kenneth “Alan” LaFevers, 61, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Alan was born on May 3, 1960 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Billy and Clarice (Perkins) LaFevers. He spent the majority of his working years as a pipefitter. Alan enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the beach and tinkering around in his shop. When his health got to where it prohibited him to do a lot of things, he loved watching movies, going for car rides and photography. Alan was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed. Alan is preceded in death by his father, Billy LaFevers; brother, Stephen LaFevers. Those he leaves to cherish his memories are his wife, Sheila LaFevers; mother, Clarice LaFevers; daughter, Erica Atkinson and husband Aaron; stepchildren, Coy Burke and wife Katy, Jefra Trahan and husband Eric, Sonny Hebert, Jake Royer and Hunter Trahan; grandchildren, Briar Atkinson, Logan Burke, Alissa Burke, Lauren Burke, Mason Trahan, Madilyn Trahan, Bentley Trahan and Lyla Royer; brother, Duane LaFevers and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services to honor and celebrate the life of Kenneth Alan LaFevers will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Bold Springs Cemetery in Milburn. Family hour will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 at the funeral home. Those serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Dehart, Craig Smith, Terry Brooks, Hunter Trahan, Braxton Bivins and Harlin Rice. Honorary pallbearers are Pat LaFevers, Mike LaFevers, Wendell LaFevers, Jeff LaFevers, Eric Trahan, Danny Lowe, Denny Bird, Kyle LaFevers, Ken LaFevers and Kirk LaFevers. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Joey Broussard. Arrangements made under the care and direction of DeArman-Clark Funeral Home.
