Joe Ray Nelson Eddy, a resident of Sulphur, was born November 6, 1937 in Roff, Oklahoma to Charlie & Caroline (Parnacher) Eddy. He passed away Tuesday May 17, 2022 at his home in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years 6 months and 11 days. Joe had lived all of his life in this area, and in the same house for the past 58 years. He retired from Haliburton as a welder. Joe had served in the National Guard. Joe was married to Willie Mae Catheryn Elrod on July 12, 1959 in Denison, Texas. She preceded him in death February 6, 2018, He was also preceded in death by his parents, son: Joe Eddy, Jr, a great granddaughter: Jennifer Lynn Mylers, 6 brothers: Leon, Calvin, Charlie, Jackie,, M.P. & R.P. and 4 sisters: Mary Cain, Willeta Hope Neely, Helena Kay Cain, Leota Simco. Survived by Daughters: Tammy Preast & Preston of Stratford, OK Patricia Tracy Medlin & Bob of Francis, OK Daughter-in-law: Anita Eddy of Sulphur, OK Sons: Jimmy Eddy & Lori of Sulphur, OK Ronald Eddy & Kat of Joy, OK Anthony Rice & Shelly of Mustang, OK 1 Sister: Cindy Langford & Gene of Sulphur, OK 22 Grandchildren 41 Great Grandchildren Pallbearers: Brandon Eddy, Cody Eddy, Derek Eddy, Jeremey Eddy, Eric Preaset Scott Gorrell, Jacob Eddy, SERVICES : 2:00PM Thursday May 19, 2022 at Crossway Baptist Church Chapel With Rev Bill Leveridge officiating.
