Charlotte “Kaye” Freeman, 73, of Tishomingo, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kaye was born on July 31, 1948 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to William Crabb Sr. and Verlie Bryson. She spent her years being a stay-at-home mom and a secretary in the family business. She and her daughter, Kathy and granddaughter, Lori loved to do craft shows together and being outside. Kaye enjoyed traveling and going on cruises, she and Buddy were able to travel to many states. She had a special bond with all three of her grandchildren and her love for them was astronomical. Kaye loved cooking and made the best cinnamon rolls and the all-time family favorite of steak and dumplings. She was the best mother to Kathy; always going out of her way to make sure she had everything she needed and holidays she went overboard. People like Kaye are one of a kind; a loving mother, grandmother and friend to so many whose memories will be cherished forever. Kaye is preceded in death by parents, William Crabb Sr., Verlie Hilton and step father Everett “Squanto” Hilton; husbands, Billy Tom Erichsen and Clarence Buddy Freeman. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her daughter, Kathy Ross and husband Bubba of Tishomingo; grandchildren, Corey, Lori and Justin Ross; sister in law, Dorothy Richards; nephews, Paul White and Allen Price.
