Billie Sue Payne, 75, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Billie Sue was born on February 16, 1946 to Charles and Loretha Richardson in Wapanucka, Oklahoma in her grandmother’s house (Granny Lee). Dr. Haberly went to the house to deliver her and Granny Lee got to give her the first bath. Growing up as an only child they spent the majority of her life in Kermit, Texas. Billie Sue married Perry Payne on July 24, 1964 and they moved to Odessa, Texas shortly after. She spent her working years as a homemaker, always caring and taking care of the needs of her family as well as others. Billie Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Loretha Richardson; mother and father-in-law, Bill and Mary Payne; great grandchild, Lettie Gonzales. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her husband, Perry Payne; children, Perry Payne Jr. and wife Michelle, Krista Quiroz and husband Gilbert, Melissa Harcrow and husband Henry; grandchildren, Kevin Payne and wife Lauren, Chris Payne and wife Diana, Megan Pruitt and husband MW, Unica Gonzales, Elizabeth Quiroz, Gilbert Quiroz, James Harcrow, Samuel Harcrow and Zachariah Harcrow; great grandchildren, Brynlee, Kendyl, McKynlee, Mason, Emma, Easton, and Everett Payne, Layla and Layvin Gonzales and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM First Baptist Church (407 E. Main Tishomingo, Oklahoma). Friends and family visitation will be at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, February, 15 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Interment to follow at the Tishomingo Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Payne, Chris Payne, James Harcrow, Sam Harcrow, MW Pruitt, and Perry Payne Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Gilbert Quiroz and Henry Harcrow.
