Barbara Louise Needham Dennis, 78, of Coleman, OK walked into her heavenly mansion on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at Durant, OK. Barbara was born on March 13th, 1943, in Durant, OK to Buddy and Syble Dean Needham. Barbara was a longtime resident of Coleman, OK. She graduated from Coleman High School in 1961. She married the love of her life, Dwain Dennis, on October 14th, 1961, in Durant. They enjoyed 56 years together before he passed in 2017. Barbara was a member of Christ Independent Baptist Church. She loved learning about Christ. Some of her last words were Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Barbara was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and meme. She worked in the finance business for 34 years before retiring. Barbara also loved spending time with her family, shopping, talking on the phone, visiting with friends, and listening to music. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Syble Needham, and her husband, Dwain Dennis. She is survived by her son Scott & Melissa Dennis of Shawnee, daughter Brenda Whitmire & Mark White of Coleman. Grandchildren Whitney & Matt Ball of Coleman, Tyler Dennis and fiancé Kaci Jarvis of Shawnee, Scotlyn Dennis and fiancé Zack Stephens of McCloud, and Tanner Whitmire and fiancé Morgan Strahan of Roberta. Two great-grandchildren Landon Ball & Lukas Ball of Coleman. Brothers Ronald & Carolyn Needham of Coleman, Randy and Debbie Needham of Coleman. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Folsom Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Earl White to officiate. Interment to follow at Center Hill Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Dennis, Tanner Whitmire, Matt Ball, Zack Stephens, Chris Palmer and Bradley Needham. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Ball and Lukas Ball.
