Tommy Sharp

Thomas (Tommy) Sharp was born in Brawley, California to James and Lucretia Sharp on August 29, 1948, and passed away in Wynnewood, Oklahoma on September 4, 2022. Tommy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his lake house on Lake Texoma. Every chance that he got he would be out well before the sun came up chasing stripers across the water. When he wasn’t fishing, he enjoyed building and restoring classic cars. Over the years, he has been the winner of multiple best in shows with his vehicles. He was extremely proud of the 1950 Chevy truck that he built from the ground up. His grandchildren meant the world to him and he could be seen attending sporting events and livestock shows supporting and cheering for them. He was an avid fan of Wynnewood Savage Football and would follow them across the state to show his support. Tommy also enjoyed watching Nascar and would attend races in his earlier years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wynnewood and was also an Honorary FFA Member. Above all, Tommy enjoyed helping others. He spent many days doing odd jobs for his friends and for his neighbors. They didn’t even have to ask for help, he seemed to have a knack for showing up at just the right time. Tommy was a true friend to many who knew that they could count on him day or night. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, KayLynn Speerbrecher. He is survived by his wife Debbie Sharp of the home, daughter Angie Dixon and husband Jackie of Wynnewood, and his son Tom Sharp and wife Amber of Eagle Mountain, Utah. His grandchildren, Brooklyn Brower and husband, Blayne of Watonga; Bryce and Brock Dixon of Wynnewood; Reid, Addy and Slade Sharp of Eagle Mountain, Utah. His brother, Bud Sharp of Wynnewood and sister, Gay Lindsey of Wynnewood, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
