Sandra Lee Lewis-Scott

Sandra Lee (Lewis) Scott, 67, of Ardmore, passed from this life on January 29, 2021 at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Sandra was born on October 29, 1953 in Wiley, Oklahoma to WL and Otharine Lewis. She was a graduate from Milburn High School. Sandra worked for Uniroyal for 30 years, which during that time changed to Michelin. After retiring, Sandra gave Michelin 4 more years on the retiree program. She enjoyed working and laughing with some of her coworkers. She married Jimmy Scott on November 20, 2015. In 2016 she started working at Southern Tech Center in which she met and made lots of new friends. Sandra made an everlasting impression wherever she worked and was always known by her beautiful and contagious laugh. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her husband, Jimmy Scott of Springer, Oklahoma; children, Bradley Lewis, LaTonya Brown-Carter, Derek Allen all of Ardmore; two special sons, Antwon Borkins of Ardmore, Phil McDonald of Davis; step daughter that she remained close to, Denita Swindall of Lawton; grandchildren, Taralyne Johnston of Durant, Desiree Lewis, Quanesha Pickens, D’Vron Roberts of Ardmore, Ja’Darien Allen of Oklahoma City, Camille Gurrola, Derek Allen Jr. of Ardmore; two great-grandkids, Ty’Lar Roberts Cohee and D’Vron Roberts Jr. of Ardmore; best friend/sister for 38 years, Thelma Stevens; brothers, Bennie Lewis and wife Jackie, Clarence Lewis and wife Edith, Thurman Lewis, all of Milburn; sister, Kathy Slaughter of Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, WL & Otharine Lewis; two brothers, William Lewis and Paul Lewis; sister, Otha Lewis. Funeral Services will be held on February 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Pastor Abraham Walton Jr. to officiate. Those serving as pallbearers will be Shannon Lewis, Terry Lewis, Lonnie Lewis, Gary Lewis, Ronnie Lewis, Stacy Downing. Flower girls will be Michelle Knight, Jackie Kemp, Pamela Gaines, Laceshia Brown. Interment to follow at Wiley Cemetery. If attending the visitation and/ or the services please on behalf of the family, please wear a mask. The family would like to thank everyone that has reached out, called, texted, and brought us food we really appreciate it. To know the love and supports shown for our sweet mother we are very thankful.
