Paul Edward Lewis

Funeral Services for Mr. Paul Edward Lewis, 68, of Ardmore, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 2:00 p. m. at the First Baptist Church on Main and Byrd Streets in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Pastor Abraham Walton officiating. Interment will follow in the Wiley Cemetery. Mr. Lewis passed away on June 25, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore. Paul was born on March 19, 1949 in the Wiley Community to W. L. Lewis, Sr. and Otherine (Stevenson) Lewis. He attended Wiley Schools and graduated from Milburn High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was Honorably Discharged from that service. Paul worked as a tire builder for the Uniroyal/Michelin Tire Plant in Ardmore, for several years before retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William and a sister, Bobbie. Paul is survived by his son, Shannon Lewis and wife Tamela of Ardmore; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Bennie, Clarence and Thurman Lewis, all of Milburn; two sisters, Sandra Swindell of Ardmore and Katherine Slaughter of Oklahoma City; and numerous other relatives. Casket Bearers for the service will be: Bradley, Gary and Terry Lewis, Derrick Allen, Zavier Cheadle and Antwan Borkins.
