Funeral Services for Mrs. Patricia Ann "Granny" Erichsen, 68, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Friday, June 28th, 2013 at 11:00 a. m. at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating, assisted by Pastor Jonathan Smith. Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery. Mrs. Erichsen passed away on June 22nd, 2013 at her home. Pat was born on June 26th, 1944 in Milburn, Oklahoma to Marion Franklin Hopewell and Beulah Verna (Rhea) Hopewell. She grew up and attended school in Milburn and was a lifelong resident of Johnston County. She worked at Johnston Memorial Hospital and for Dr.'s Webb and Vinson before finishing her long career in the health care field as the lab/x-ray manager for the Lee Family Clinic/University Medical Group in Durant, Oklahoma, for over 22 years. Pat married B. T. Erichsen on December 31st, 1993 and they have lived in their current residence, north of Tishomingo, since that time. Her grandchildren were her source of pride and she soon became everyone's "Granny". Granny will be dearly missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Lynn Brogdon; a grandson, Nike Carroll; three brothers, Murray, Leonard and Francis Hopewell and a sister, Leona Heath. Pat is survived by her husband B. T., of the home; four daughters, Connie Harrison and husband Dr. Joe Harrison of Durant, Oklahoma, Sheila Biggs and husband Karl Don of Tishomingo, Kathy Ross and husband Bubba of Tishomingo and Wanda McClatchy and husband Colby of Sherman, Texas; her son, Barrett Alexander and wife Jenny of Blanchard, Oklahoma; two sisters, Nadine Mays of Moore, Oklahoma and Wilma Hise of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Lindsey Rhea Jenen and husband Richard, Lauren Miller, BreeAnna Biggs, Corey Ross, Alec Shea, Connor Harrison, Emory Harrison, Hailey Alexander, Madison McClatchy, Channing Rhea, Lori Ross, Aberie Shea, Carson McClatchy, Justin Ross and Waylon Alexander; her great-grandchildren, Mylanne Miller, Jack Jenen and soon-to-be born Hadley Jenen. Also, numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers for the service will be grandsons, Corey Ross, Alec Shea, Connor Harrison and Taylor Samis and sons-in-law, Bubba Ross, Colby McClatchy, Dr. Joe Harrison and Karl Don Biggs. Honorary Bearers will be Joe Heath, Eddie Easterling, Vernon Hurst, Bryan Barnes, Lawrence Elliott, Sam Combs,Mike McCarthy and Donnie Hyde. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
