Judy Laverene Hall

Judy Laverene Hall, age 89, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026. Judy was born on November 12, 1936, in Bromide, Oklahoma, to Lunsford Morgan and Ruby Baldwin Morgan. She was born and raised in Bromide, where she learned the values of hard work, kindness, and faith that would guide her throughout her life. In 1953, Judy married Munsy Cravatt. They remained married until his passing in 1964. In 1974, she married Don Hall, and they shared 51 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Judy devoted her life to being a homemaker, a role she embraced with great pride and love. Her greatest joys were her faith in God and the family she treasured so deeply. She believed in working hard, treating everyone with kindness, and always helping others whenever she could. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for those around her will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Hall; her first husband and the father of her children, Munsy Cravatt; her parents, Lunsford and Ruby Morgan; brother Curtis Morgan, her sons, Lee Cravatt and Mathew Cravatt; and her son-in-law, Leonard Hatter. Judy leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her son, Aaron Cravatt and wife, Viola; her daughters, Regina Berna and husband, Randy, and Mary Hatter; her grandchildren, Tanya Russell, Tamara Upchurch, Starla Greenwood, J.R. Berna, Bobby Berna, Heather Berna, Mathew Cravatt, Jamey Bennett, Becky Johnson, Josh Cravatt, Johnny Don Cravatt, and Christina Cravatt; her great-grandchildren, Logan Hatter, Ashlee Smith, Carey Upchurch, Bradley Upchurch, Jason Howland, Nuck Greenwood, JoJo Greenwood, Tafv Greenwood, Austin Caraway, Ambria Caraway, Ava Garinger, Axton Garinger, Anora Shields, Aidon Shields, Dawson Berna, and Cordale Berna; and her great-great-grandchildren, Cohen Upchurch, Ivey Upchurch, and Annslee Caraway. Judy’s legacy is one of faith, love, compassion, and selfless service to her family and others. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery in Pontotoc, Oklahoma.
