Joyce Marie Todd

Joyce Marie Todd, 76, of Butcher Pen, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2026. Joyce was born on October 19, 1949, to Carl and Blanchie (Hartsell) Chamberlain. She married the love of her life, James Todd, on May 4, 1968. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and unwavering devotion. Joyce worked for many years at H&R Block in Tishomingo, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. Outside of work, she enjoyed reading, sewing, embroidery, going to garage sales, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was well known for her cooking, especially her sofa and beans and her apple salad. Her greatest joy in life was her marriage to James and raising her children. Joyce taught her family the true meaning of selflessness, unconditional love, and the importance of always standing by one another. Her legacy will live on through the values she instilled in those she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Blanchie Chamberlain; her husband, James Todd; her brothers, Edwin Chamberlain, Sidney Chamberlain, and a baby brother; her sister, Dee Chamberlain; and her grandson, Jonathan Hammond. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Marcie Pierce and husband Wayne, Martha Waldie and husband Tommy, Iva Roberts and husband Chris, and Georgia Bozarth and husband David; her brothers, Aaron Chamberlain, Glenn Chamberlain and wife Linda, Ronnie Chamberlain and wife Linda, and Bob Chamberlain and wife Stephanie; her sisters, Wanda Chamberlain and husband Don and Pearl Dodson and husband Johnny. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dawn Pierce and partner Hope, Dalton Pierce, Derek Pierce, Tyler Hammond and wife Jessika, Levi Sanders and girlfriend Brianna, Peyton Roberts, Cody and Ashley Waldie, Kyle and Grace Waldie, James Bozarth, and Kayden Singleton; and her great-grandchildren, Taylen Sanders, Elizabeth Pierce, Liam Pierce, Paisley Waldie, Maverick Waldie, Jameson Waldie, Daylin, Mac, Diesel, Zayden, and Madilynn, along with many other loving family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at Butcher Pen Cemetery in Kenefic, Oklahoma.
