JoAnne Dale Paul

Joanne Paul (Braun) 69, Frisco, Texas formally a resident of Hebron, IL passed away on the 14th of February 2022, surrounded by her family. Joanne Braun (Paul) was born on May 10th, 1952 to Harry & Lupe Braun (Saavedra) born in Wisconsin, and the twin sister to John Braun. Joanne went on to graduate from Alden Hebron High. After graduating from high school, pursuing a career working with children with special needs as a teacher's aide. Joanne went on to be a foster parent for 2 children with special needs. Joanne was married to James Paul and had 2 children, Julie & Jamie Paul. Joanne was a fiercely dedicated mother, which had a talent for poetry, writing short stories, and was very creative. Joanne was dedicated to her faith and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a Sunday School Teacher for the primary children and a talented speaker with a strong testimony. Joanne had a unique way of teaching and speaking, using cartoons or movies, to relate to life lessons. Joanne loved Science Fiction, fantasy books, and movies (especially Disney Movies). Joanne dedicated her life in service to others as a friend and teacher. Friends were welcome in her home and treated like family. Joanne believed that faith, a strong family, empathy, and the ability to forgive were the most important lessons in life. Joanne recently moved to Texas in August of 2021 to be close to her daughters and grandchildren, who were able to be with her for the last months of her life. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Joanne was predeceased by her parents Harry and Lupe Braun(Saavedra), her siblings Harry Braun Jr, Terri Braun, Laura Braun, Rick Braun, Ron Braun (Cindy Braun), Mike Jackic, and her Niece Michelle Jackic. She is survived by her children Julie (Mike Milliken), Jamie (John Jacobson), & Lisa Ludwig. Her siblings, Charlie Braun, Jeanne Holmes, John Braun, Tracey Behrens(Mike), and Steve Braun(Dorene). 14 Grandchildren, Carter Koura-Milliken, Evan Milliken, Luke Milliken(Salome), Logan Milliken, Grady Milliken, Alyssa Jacobson, Tara Jacobson, Ashley Jacobson, Matthew Ludwig, Christopher Ludwig, Andrew Ludwig, Aaron Ludwig, Nathanial Ludwig, and Marissa Ludwig. 6 Great Grandchildren, Sophia, Landen, Cayden, Bentley, Riley & Weston. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to help the family cover the services. Visitation will be DeArman Funeral Home in Stratford, OK, at 9:00 am on Tuesday, February 22nd followed by a burial at 1 PM at Corley Cemetary. There will be a catered luncheon at Free Will Baptist Church in Stratford, immediately following the burial service.
