James (Trey) Richard Helm III

James Richard Helm III "Trey" was born January 6, 1995 to Jimbo and Paige Helm and passed away October 26, 2018. Trey was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and most importantly, Daddy. Growing up Trey was the kind of kid that everyone wanted to be friends with and the son that every parent wanted to have. Although he definitely had an ornery streak, he still had a heart of gold. If you knew him at all, you knew that his compassion for others was one of his greatest qualities. With his infectious smile he made friends so easily. Trey's personality made everyone feel like they were an old friend, even if they had just met. Trey's childhood was filled with a multitude of happy memories however, he also experienced heartache and loss; but through it all he kept that alluring smile. Growing up in Maysville he learned how to play many sports. His competitive drive helped him excel at everything he did, including driving Brielle and Ashton crazy at times. They moved to Stratford when he was in the 8th grade. Little did he know that he would meet several great friends and most of all the love of his life, Leah Marie Parker. Trey finished high school and went straight to work. He was one of the hardest working men around and was always willing to help out in any way he could. He enjoyed working everyday with Shawn, Jared and the rest of the crew at Mann Electric. Trey had big plans and future goals for his life and that plan included marrying Leah on July 6, 2018. His life with Leah was cut too short. He had accomplished so much in his life but the thing he was most proud of was they day he became Daddy. Jakely Marie Helm changed his life in so many ways. His love for his daughter was something everyone could see. When Trey would talk or sing to her, Jakely's eyes would light up. The bond between Daddy and Daughter was clear; he was wrapped around her tiny finger. Trey and Leah had many beautiful memories that Jakely will hear stories about as she grows. The family appreciates all the thoughts and prayers during this tragic time. Services; 11:00 AM Tuesday October 30, 2018 at the Stratford High School Auditorium. Officiating; Rev. Sean McKinney. Burial will be in McGee cemetery Stratford, Oklahoma. Pallbearers; Clay Armstrong, Chase Bradstreet, Brant McGuffin, Tanner Dial, Dakota Nolan, and Brandon Stokes.
