Frieda Ann Clark

Frieda Ann Clark (January 18, 1941-October 18, 2021) Frieda was an avid life-long learner and reader. She loved to explore through travel and was especially fond of living in New Mexico. She loved to be outdoors at the homestead, caring for all types of flowers and plants. She enjoyed her friends and loved to spend time with anyone who needed to be encouraged by her kind spirit. She loved being around her church family, especially on game night. She adored her daughters, raising them here in Stratford after the passing of her husband, Charlie. Frieda is a proud grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to be around and spoil them. A lady to the end, Frieda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Frieda is survived by her daughters Charmin Holland and husband Brian of Marlow, OK, and Carin Huneycutt and husband Jim of Winnsboro, TX; Siblings Bobbie Lee Warner of Stratford, OK; Karla Prasifka and husband Mike of Hutchins, TX; Kevin Hooten of Herens, TX; Tonya Hooten of Hutchins, TX. Grandchildren: Nathan Holland and wife Rachel of Lawton, OK; Connor Holland and wife Rebekah of Yukon, OK; Brianna Horne and husband Josh of Ada, OK; Catrin Ann Hoffman of Emory, TX; Marin Ann and Clark Anderson Bryant of Winnsboro, TX Great-grandchildren: Leah Mae and Alexandra Jane Holland of Lawton, OK Numerous Nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents Jack Hickman and Minta Hooten, her husband Charles Clark, her brothers James Hickman, Bill Hickman, and Bruce Thompson, along with her sister Linda Sue Thompson. Education: Salutatorian at South Oak Cliff High School Bachelors of Science and Sociology at Sam Houston State University Masters in Sociology Research at University of Oklahoma Work History: Goodwill of Dallas: Director of Personnel Chickasaw Nation: Director of Employment and Training, Director of JTPA Program, Director of Special Projects in the Arts and Humanities Division National Indian Council on Aging: Director of Senior Employment Visitation will be Thursday October 21, 2021 at DeArman Pickard Funeral Home from 4-7 Pm. Services will be 10:00 Am Friday October 22, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Stratford.
