Alice Pevehouse

Alice Pevehouse, 43, of Madill, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 in Durant, OK. Alice was born on September 27, 1980 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Betsey Conley. She was raised by Howard and Elizabeth Conley Stanley. Alice attended school in Coleman and went on to Madill High School where she graduated. After high school, she furthered her education at Murray State College. During her working years, she worked in retail and as a home provider and caregiver. She was of the Baptist faith. Alice loved the ocean, playing dominoes, collecting stickers, water exercising and traveling. Alice had a very big heart and a passion for helping people. Alice was known for her favorite expression: Sunshine and daisies! Those she leaves to cherish her memories are the love of her life, Dave Hampton of the home; parents, Howard Stanley and Elizabeth (Conley) Stanley; brother, Joey Magyar Park City, KS., sister, Kimberley Weaver and husband Josh of Durant, OK., sister, Crystal Alvarez and husband Gabriel of Milburn, OK., sister, Charmae Cheadle and husband Steve of Tishomingo, OK; many nieces and nephews; maternal aunt, Diana Walters of Tishomingo, OK; special friend, Marsha Easley of Oakland, OK. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betsey Conley; sister, Betty Conley, sister, (infant) Faye Conley. Special thanks to Alliance Health ICU floor nursing staff Angie and Jacob, Dr. Walkup, Dr. Khetpal, Air Evac crew Jeremy and Tyler as well as emergency room staff and DeArman -Clark Funeral Home staff. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 19 at the Bullard Chapel Baptist Church, (6001 South Bullard Chapel Rd, Tishomingo, OK) with Reverend Jonathan Smith to officiate. Family hour will be held at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM. Alice will be laid to rest at the Coleman Cemetery in Coleman, Oklahoma. Those serving as pallbearers will be Dave Hampton, Gabriel Alvarez, Cobey Alvarez, Josh Weaver, Kirsten Russell, Logan Johnston, Kurt Walters. Honorary Pall Bearers: Joey Magyar, Ryan Stanley, Ashton Russell, Colton Russell, Hope Alvarez, Chancie Espinosa and Landon Weaver. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, (7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231)
