Sue DeArman Grove

Sue DeArman Grove, a resident of Wynnewood, OK, was born on March 22, 1941 in Mannsville, OK to Dessa Mae (Robinson) and Emmett Jep Davis. Sue passed away at her home east of Wynnewood on November 7, 2018. She grew up and graduated from Ravia High School in 1959. Sue was an amazing business woman and spent many years owning and operating restaurants all over southern Oklahoma. On July 15, 1989 Sue married Leroy DeArman in Madill, OK and together they owned and operated DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood until he passed away in January of 1995. Sue went on to own and operate the funeral home until her retirement in June of 2007. On August 25, 2005 Sue married JH Grove in Gainesville, TX and they spent their lives together until she passed away. Sue was a very loving mother and grandmother and touched many lives through her cooking and special care during her years at the funeral home. She was a member of the Eastern Gate Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband JH of their home in Wynnewood; daughter and son in law - Stacy and Brent Maroney of Guthrie, OK; 3 Stepsons - Gary and wife Dianne Grove of El Dorado, KS; Joe and wife Lanae DeArman of Sulphur, OK; Jim DeArman of Wynnewood, OK; 2 stepdaughters - Michelle Adams of Wynnewood; Denise DeArman of Paoli; 4 granddaughters - Brentney and husband Brian Zorger of Duke, OK; Cortney Maroney of Stillwater, OK; Lexy Maroney of Guthrie, OK; Payton Massey of Norman, OK; 2 grandsons - Ethan Massey of Sulphur, OK; Landy Beau DeArman of Sulphur, OK; great grandson - Rhett Zorger; Brother and sister in law - W.T. "Dub" and Genova Davis of Canyon Lake, TX; Sister and brother in law - Lynda and Larry McDaniel of Madill, OK; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Leroy DeArman she was preceded by 3 brothers - EJ Davis, Lesley Loy Davis, and RF "Bill" Davis; sister - Dottie Smith. Services will be held on Monday November 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood with Rev. Jerry Wells officiating and burial following at Lone Cedar Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday November 9, 2018 at DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood from 5 to 7 PM. DeArman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
