Sheila Coffman

Sheila McLean Coffman, age 54, passed from this life on December 8, 2020 after her long, hard fight with breast cancer. Sheila was born on January 9, 1966 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Billie Hughes McLean and Clara Bell Black. She spent her working years doing many things; hairdressing, working in warehouses but her favorite title was mom or meemaw. Sheila was mom or meemaw to everyone; you couldn’t go to her house without leaving with a sack full of groceries. She always made sure you felt loved and would check up on you constantly just to make sure you didn’t need anything. Sheila enjoyed Hallmark movies, making fudge and taking trips. Life of the party, full of life, never went without a smile even towards her last days; she was a tough, strong woman who loved to dance her way through life. Sheila is preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Clara McLean; 1st husband, Richard Arles; brothers, Billy Michael McLean, Baby McLean; sister, Kathy Taylor; grandparents, Mary Margaret McLean, John Percy McLean, Henry and Viola Black; uncles, Charles Mclean, Bobby McLean, Sunny Sharp; aunt, Darlene Taylor Black. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her children, Tiffany Henry and husband Justin; Clayton Arles and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Macy and Morgan Henry, Lukus Arles; life partner and friend, Jeff Whatley; siblings, Mary Pettygrew, Patricia Gibson, Brenda Leonard, Billy McLean; aunts, Barbara Sharp, Charlene Matthews and Norma McLean; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will deeply miss her. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Chapel with Brother Daniel Stevens to officiate. Interment to follow at Ravia Cemetery. Family hour will be held on Saturday 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Those serving as pallbearers are Dustin Pettygrew, Clayton Arles, Justin Henry, Anthony Taylor, Jeff Whatley, Buddy Ray. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Arles, John Morris, Aaron McLean, Michael McLean, Jerry Sanford. The family would like especially thank Sheila's caregiver, Hannah Steakley. She was more than just a caregiver, we all considered her family and just want to thank her tremendously.
