Funeral Services for Colten Douglas Ragan, 27, of Fillmore, Oklahoma will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:00 p. m. in the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Brother Justin Kirkes and Brother Allen Beck officiating. The casket will not be opened at the service. Colten Douglas Ragan of Fillmore, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the age of 27 years, 2 months and 24 days. He was born on June 17, 1990 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was the son of Terry Ragan and LaNell Warren. Colten was a graduate of Milburn High School. He received his Master Welder certificate from Tulsa Welding School on April 29, 2011. Colten had a life long love of agriculture and made ranching his chosen profession. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. More than anything else, Colten loved his family and especially his nieces, Taryn and Terrah Ragan. Always kind and generous, Colten served others and the church through various volunteer activities. Survivors include, his mother and step-father, LaNell and Scott Warren of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma; two brothers, Callen Ragan and wife Jodie of Fillmore and Michael Warren of Yanush, Oklahoma; his grandparents, Ralph Ragan of Milburn, Oklahoma and Byron and Gertrude Bohanon of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma and Mike and Letha Warren of Talihina, Oklahoma; two aunts, Joni Jeter of Milburn and Brenda Kennedy of Buffalo Valley; one uncle, Don House of Madill, Oklahoma; his cousins, Gage Jeter of Edmond, Oklahoma, Kelbie Kennedy of Chuuk, Micronesia, Kareesa Kennedy of Buffalo Valley and Grant Jeter of Milburn; also, numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Colten was preceded in death by his father, Terry Ragan; grandmother, Joye Ragan; great-grandparents, Lester and Gertie Ragan, Lonnie and Juanita Callen, Bill and Alene Bohanon and Albert and Johnnie Kirkes. Casket Bearers for the service will be: Callen Ragan, Josh Walker, Triston Scribner, Preston Converse, Dallas Williams, and Chad Lowe. Honorary Bearers will be: Hesston Kirkes, Michael Warren, Kent Phillips, Blake May, Zack May, Scott Warren, John Henry Davis, Butch Sliger and Kevin Peters.
