Brenda Sue Hook

Brenda Sue Hook was born November 29, 1954 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Leroy and Nina Mae (Marrow) Anderson. She passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma September 4, 2024 at the age of 69 years 9 months and 5 days. Brenda, affectionately known as NeNe to so many who knew and loved her grew up in Paul’s Valley OK and surrounding area where she met and married the love of her life Gary Pat Hook. They would be celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary this year on September 11th. Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and loving friend who loved Jesus. Brenda rarely had any “free time”. She was always busy working way harder than she had to. When she wasn’t working she was making sure her family was always well fed, especially on Sundays where Family Sunday Dinner was a Family Tradition. There was always more than enough so everyone was always welcomed. She loved playing games with her family. Including card games this also became a family tradition. Over the years she enjoyed traveling, shopping, craft shows, bowling, camping playing slots at the local casinos, and she never missed an opportunity to go support her grandkids at their school functions and sporting events. Brenda’s life would seem too short to many, but to those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understands that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quality of time she was here with us. Preceded by ; her parents Leroy and Nina Mae Anderson, son, Ronald Keith Hook, sister, Bonnie Bustamante, brothers Jerry, and Ronnie Dean Anderson. Survived by; 2 daughters, Drenda Mae Patrom & husband Bryan of Stratford. Krenda Sue Billings & husband Josh of Sulphur. Son, Patrick Keith Hook & Lynsie Johnson of Stratford. Grandchildren, Alisha & Jes, Natalie, Gunner, Konner, Ella, Owen, Levi, Georgia, Ollie, Daphnee & Ethan and Blake. 2 Great-grandchildren Joseph & Silas. Brother; Jesse Leroy Anderson of Lindsay, Ok. Bonus Family; Suzanne Mueller, and all the Patrom family. Visitation; will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday September 5, 2024 in DeArman/Pickard Chapel Stratford, Oklahoma. Funeral Services; will be 11:00 AM Friday September 6, 2024 in the True Life Church south of Stratford on Highway 177. Officiating: Rev. Randy Hinkle. Burial will be in Corley cemetery 5 miles south on highway 177.
