Barbara Ann Kreger

Barbara Ann (Bevill) Kreger was born on March 30, 1942 to Jerome and Evelyn Bevill in Harlingen, Texas. Barbara passed from this life at the age of 81 on December 6, 2023 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family. She grew up in Ravia where she attended school. Barbara was married to Jesse St. Clair in Ardmore, Oklahoma; they had two children together, Asa and Linda. They separated after being married for several years and in 1980 she ran into Donald Kreger, whom she knew from high school, at the Western Inn in Tishomingo and the two married on October 30, 1981 in Gainesville, TX. In her early years of working, she worked at Uniroyal and the Pier 7 Café and the Johnston County Court Clerk’s Office. In the mid-80s, she obtained her commercial chauffer license to team drive with Donnie. They drove over the road for several years before coming back and finishing her journey with the Court Clerk’s Office where she stayed until her retirement. Barbara enjoyed watching basketball, girls’ softball, she even played softball on a women’s fast pitch team. She loved camping, water skiing on the lakes, 4-wheeling, going on a side by side and riding in the mountains of Colorado. Barbara loved her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, family and friends, anytime the opportunity arose to brag about them she would. She was extremely proud of all of them and no one ever had to doubt the love that she had for you. Barbara will be greatly missed by all the lives she impacted. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Evelyn Bevill; brother, Dale Bevill; father and mother-in-law, Lex and Faye Kreger; grandson, Brandan Kreger; great niece, Austin Holt. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her husband of 42 years, Donald Kreger of the home; 4 children, Asa St. Clair and wife Tammy of Ardmore, Linda White and husband Floyd of Coleman, Ricky Kreger and wife Tammie of Ravia, Lisa Renbarger of Lexington; 9 grandchildren, LeaAnn Johnson, Lucky Boswell, Chris Boswell, Stanton St. Clair, Jarrett Kreger, Brandon Justice, Josh Justice, Jennifer Justice, Dustin Gullion; 33 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Karen Bevill of Prosper, Texas and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services to honor and celebrate the life of Barbara Kreger will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Ravia Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers will be Chris Boswell, Lucky Boswell, Stanton St. Clair, Jarrett Kreger, Brandon Justice, Josh Justice, Dustin Gullion. Honorary pallbearers are Dan Harris, Randy Bevill, Jerry Nell. Family hour will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
